Being a growth-oriented, customer-focused company who recently achieved AS9100/ISO9001 registrations, we are seeking an experienced Customer Service Coordinator with basic skills and experience in accounts payable processing to join our Sales and Business Development Team and assist our Accounting Team on an “as needed” basis. The successful candidate will have excellent skills working with customers and a proven track record in performing administrative tasks to enable the Sales and Business Development Team to achieve key productivity, quality and delivery goals. This person will report directly to the Sales and Business Development Director, and will be responsible for documenting product realization process plans with input from team members.

Additionally, he or she will be expected to perform basic accounts payable duties and miscellaneous accounting tasks for a smaller portion of his or her work week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED:

  • Receive work requests from customers verbally or electronically. Obtain specified key customer and job information and document.
  • Direct the work request according to procedures documented in the AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management System
  • Input into the shop floor planning system the operational steps to manufacture the product by others.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

l Experience working with a sales team of a machining job shop

l Excellent telephone skills that engage a customer such that the required information is willingly provided

l Able to collaborate with technical staff, engineers and skilled trades in order to compile then communicate work instructions

l Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)

l Previous experience in entry-level accounting roles or accounts payable invoice processing

l Excellent time management and multi-tasking capability

l Excellent written communication skills

l US Citizen

l Minimum High School graduate with two years’ experience working in a fast-paced administrative position requiring customer focus and attention to detail

l Experience with JobBOSS manufacturing resource planning system, a benefit

l Familiarity with ISO quality systems , preferable

Salary: $13 to $15 per hour

Work Hours: 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
