Being a growth-oriented, customer-focused company who recently achieved AS9100/ISO9001 registrations, we are seeking an experienced Driver to support our company needs. The successful candidate will have excellent driving skills, including a perfect driving record, and a valid NYS driver license, as well as, the ability to portray a professional image, particularly as he or she interacts with customers and vendors. In addition, the person will be expected to be an active member of our shipping and receiving team and perform miscellaneous duties in this area.

Job duties will include: Using our Company-provided van or truck, picking up and delivering products from suppliers and customers throughout the Rochester and surrounding areas; checking incoming shipments for quantities delivered; inspecting pickups and deliveries for damage; checking items against manifest and delivering all paperwork to proper office; preparing products for shipping, including packaging of goods and loading of van or truck for shipment; may deliver merchandise to proper location within the facility; performing material preparation, such as assembling and cutting materials to be ready for shop floor usage.

Skill/Education Requirements:

· Experience driving a van or truck.

· Basic skill and knowledge in shipping and receiving processes.

• Effectively participates with employees, vendors, and customers to assure product is delivered timely and to customer satisfaction.
• Hands-on experience working with all types of materials, e.g. raw stock and purchased components, a plus.
• Power lifting equipment license, a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, as needed.
• Basic computer experience (e.g. Internet) JobBoss is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent and generally two or more years' experience in this or similar position.

Salary:$12.00 Per Hour

Work Hours:7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Overtime and shifts may be required, as needed.
