DESCRIPTION: Arnprior Rapid Manufacturing Solutions, Inc, Rochester, NY, is recognized as being one of the largest “all under one roof” manufacturing solution centers in the Northeast United States. We leverage this capability to consistently develop then manufacture challenging custom mechanical components and assemblies for our customers in the Medical, Consumer and Aerospace industries.
We are seeking a hands-on Finance Manager who will report directly to the Vice President and General Manager. He or she will play a key role as an active member of the senior management team, and be responsible for the supervision of a small accounting team. The ideal candidate should have proven experience managing a small accounting group and working effectively with at all levels in an organization.
Responsibilities are as follows:
- Accurately close the books and related reporting in a timely manner
- Analyze operating results, financial performance of customer goods sold, and overall cost drivers impacting the company
- Accountable for costing, inventory accounting, and integrity of job costing system
- Perform financial planning, analysis and forecasting
- Participate in pricing and bid reviews
- Implement effective internal controls and process improvement
- Manage yearly audit process
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff

Educational Requirements
B.S. in Business Administration or Accounting
Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· Minimum ten years business experience with significant financial responsibility
· Five years in a job shop manufacturing environment
· Solid cost accounting knowledge and experience
· Proven ability to multi-task and meet many demands in a timely fashion
· Superior computer skills (ERP, MS office)
· Supervisory experience
IDEAL CANDIDATE
· Experience developing financial business systems in a start-up environment
· Takes a hands-on approach, with a strong desire to learn
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Comfortable communicating with cross-functional groups, as well as senior management
· Works well in a fast-paced environment with minimum direction
· Has implemented an ERP/financial system
