Being a growth-oriented, customer-focused company who recently achieved AS9100/ISO9001 registrations, we are seeking an experienced Inventory Coordinator to support our Automotive Component Model Shop. The successful candidate will have responsibility for all inventory functions to ensure materials move timely and successfully through our supply chain in order to achieve key productivity, quality and delivery goals.
Job duties will include: understanding component and material requirements; managing inventory to appropriate levels; ordering all necessary tools and materials directly from vendors; monitoring performance of vendors (e.g. timeliness, quality); daily tracking of schedule for delivery and shipment of components; producing all necessary documentation relating to material control; and resupplying production areas with necessary components. This job will require roughly 40% working in an office environment and 60% working on the shop floor.
Skill/Education Requirements:
· Skill and knowledge in all aspects of inventory management and purchasing.
- Hands-on experience working with all types of materials, e.g. raw stock and purchased components.
- Computer experience (e.g. Internet, WORD, Excel) JobBoss is a plus.
- Forklift license, a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent and generally two or more years' experience in this or similar position.
Salary:$15.00 Per Hour
Work Hours:7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Overtime may be required, as needed.
