DESCRIPTION: Arnprior Rapid Manufacturing Solutions, Inc, Rochester, NY, is recognized as being one of the largest “all under one roof” manufacturing solution centers in the Northeast United States. We leverage this capability to consistently develop, then manufacture challenging custom components and assemblies for our customers in the Medical, Consumer and Aerospace industries.

We are seeking a hands-on Sr. Accountant who will report directly to the Finance Manager. He or she will play a key role as an active member of a small accounting team. The ideal candidate will have proven accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Overall responsibility for the general ledger, trial balance, journal entries and monthly closing
• Account reconciliations, including banking
• Monitoring and recording banking activity on a daily basis
• Weekly gross margin analysis and reporting
• Inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP and FG, labor costing and analysis
• Support annual year-end audit, including working papers and analysis

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum five years business experience in a general accounting role executing the monthly
  close and preparing financial statements on a timely basis
• Manufacturing accounting experience, ideally in a job shop environment
• Inventory and cost accounting knowledge and experience
• Proven ability to multi-task and meet many demands in a timely fashion
• Experience working with databases (such as MS access) and advanced excel spreadsheets functions (such as pivot tables)
• JobBoss knowledge, a plus.

Educational Requirements:

• BS in Accounting or equivalent experience
